Who can enter Makkah?

Only Muslims are permitted to enter the holy city of Makkah. During the Hajj season, entry is further restricted to those with valid Hajj permits, Umrah visas, or official residency or work authorization within Makkah.

4

Who can enter Medinah?

Unlike Makkah, non-Muslims are allowed to enter the city of Madinah, but access to the Prophet’s Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) and its immediate surroundings is generally reserved for Muslims. Visitors can explore other parts of the city, but should respect local customs and dress modestly when near religious sites.

5

Dress code in Gulf

In Gulf countries, modest attire is generally appreciated as a sign of respect for local customs. While not all nations enforce a formal dress code, it’s advisable to ensure that shoulders and knees are covered in public settings. Dressing modestly not only reflects cultural awareness but also helps foster a sense of mutual respect and harmony.

6

Best way to commute

The best way to commute across the Gulf is by using ride-hailing apps like Uber or Careem, or by renting a car for greater flexibility.
Always check with your tour provider first—they often offer more affordable transport options than standard taxis.
